Orientation to Research is for research academics newly appointed to UNSW staff, and proifessional staff working in research; with a focus on UNSW’s research strategy and how the Division of Research can support you in your research endeavours.
Key staff from the Division of Research including the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research), the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research), the Dean of Graduate Research and the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research Infrastructure) will provide an overview of the research environment; strategy, expectations, and the support available in developing your career, followed by a roundtable session attended by key senior staff from the Division of Research. Refreshments provided and networking encouraged.
Orientation to Research is held in line with the HDR Academic Calendar and run twice per year (usually in March and September).
The Orientation to Research event scheduled for Friday, 27 March 2020, 10:00am-12:30pm has been postponed in line with UNSW and Government guidelines to minimise the spread of COVID-19.
