He is committed to having an impact on natural resources through management bringing appropriate science to work.

Stuart worked with the Communications Manager of Land & Water Australia in a team that implemented leading concepts such as Knowledge and Adoption to improve both the use of existing research and the procurement of new research.

Stuart is currently conducting research in coastal and ocean management, research evaluation, dendrochronology and stick-nest rat middens.

In summary, Stuart has demonstrated that he; frames action to get great research outputs that match needs, delivers an improved supply of communication outputs to the right audience, manages synthesis with inclusive approaches and credible publications; and provides the follow-through people expect - right to the point of program impact.
