Dr Azar Kariminia

Biography

Azar is the project statistician and coordinator of The TREAT Asia Pediatric HIV Observational Database (TApHOD), a collaborative study of infants and children living with HIV in the Asia-Pacific. Azar’s primary interests include monitoring, evaluation, and analysis of large-scale longitudinal studies among children and adolescents living with HIV, that are policy relevant in a national and international context. Azar is the project statistician and coordinator of The TREAT Asia Pediatric HIV Observational Database (TApHOD), a collaborative study of infants and children living with HIV in the Asia-Pacific. Azar’s primary interests include monitoring, evaluation, and analysis of large-scale longitudinal studies among children and adolescents living with HIV, that are policy relevant in a national and international context. She has also interest in the design, scheduling, implementation and analysis of cohorts and randomized controlled studies among marginalised population.
