I am a qualitative social and cultural researcher. I use a critical lens and my training in geography to explore issues of power, inequities and belonging in diverse places. Ethnographic methods that attend to the ways people live and experience places are a central thread in my work.

My current work investigates the ways health inequities are constructed, experienced, and reproduced at different scales. I focus on people’s trajectories through healthcare, the role of affect and emotions in relations of care, and community advocacy for social justice
