Biography

Jianfeng is a Senior Lecturer in Geotechnical Engingeering. He is a Fellow member and a Chartered Profession Engineer accredited by the Institution of Engineers Australia. He obtained his PhD from University College Dublin in 2007.He worked in Coffey Geotechnics (Perth), Tongji University, Monash University and Federation University Australia as a lecturer before joining UNSW, Canberra.

Research Facilities

  • Well equipped Geotechnical lab with modern monotonic and MTS cyclic Triaxial cells, Unsaturated triaxial cells, Rowe Cell, and 300mm size large direct shear box, etc.
  • Access to Abaqus, ANSYS,  FLAC 2D and 3D, Plaxis 2D and 3D, and EDEM, ect.
