Paula Jops is a Research Fellow within the Public Health Interventions Research Group at the Kirby Institute, UNSW Sydney. Paula Jops is a Research Fellow within the Public Health Interventions Research Group at the Kirby Institute, UNSW Sydney. She is a qualitative researcher with a cross-disciplinary background in anthropology, public health, and development studies. Her research interests include TB and HIV, refugees and forced migration, and gender-based violence. She has conducted research both locally and within cross-cultural settings, most recently in India, Thailand, and Papua New Guinea. Paula is currently working on the NHMRC funded project called 'Understanding the socio-cultural dimensions of tuberculosis in Papua New Guinea: Knowledge to optimise public health solutions.'
