Andrew Kingsford-Smith is a current Scientia PhD candidate and Casual Academic in the School of Education, UNSW. He has teaching experience at several universities and high schools, and is passionate about bringing evidence-based practices into classrooms. Andrew Kingsford-Smith is a current Scientia PhD candidate and Casual Academic in the School of Education, UNSW. He has teaching experience at several universities and high schools, and is passionate about bringing evidence-based practices into classrooms. His research interests focus on student and teacher motivation using quantitative analyses. He has worked on several research projects at UNSW, including the Rural & Regional Education Project. In his Master’s at UNSW, Andrew investigated student engagement profiles and their association with student motivation and academic achievement. In his PhD, Andrew is investigating teacher motivation and wellbeing in rural, regional, and metropolitan schools.
