Mr Hang Ding

Biography

Dr. Hang Ding received a Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Queensland (UQ), Australia. Currently, he is a research associate at The Kirby Institute, UNSW, Sydney, NSW, Australia. His research focuses on researching, translating, and implementing artificial intelligence (AI) techniques for analysing global outbreaks and epidemics in the EPIWATCH platform. Dr. Hang Ding received a Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Queensland (UQ), Australia. Currently, he is a research associate at The Kirby Institute, UNSW, Sydney, NSW, Australia. His research focuses on researching, translating, and implementing artificial intelligence (AI) techniques for analysing global outbreaks and epidemics in the EPIWATCH platform. Previously, Dr Ding was a research fellow at RECOVER Injury Research Centre, UQ (Mar 2019 -Dec 2022) and a research scientist at CSIRO (2009 – 2019). His previous research focused on digital health and AI applications for health interventions, with over 20 journal publications in the research fields.
