Dr Holly Evans is a Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Behavioural Sciences Unit (BSU) in the School of Clinical Medicine. She is the leader of the Family Systems and Relationships Team, and was awarded a Doctor of Philosophy in January 2022. Her PhD focused on end-of-life communication and the role that psychological mechanisms such as attachment security in relationships might play in these conversations. She developed new discovery-level knowledge of how attachment influences end-of-life communication among healthy AYAs, which had not been previously examined in experimental psychology or psycho-oncology.
