Dr. Shah is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the School of Engineering and Information Technology at the University of New South Wales, Canberra, ADFA. He completed his Ph.D. from RMIT University, Melbourne, in 2022 with a research focus on the Internet of Things, 5G and Beyond Wireless Networks, and Software-defined Wireless Networking. An internationally renowned senior examiner recognized his Ph.D. thesis as outstanding work and a significant contribution to the field beyond what is normally expected for research at this level. Syed obtained a B.S. degree in telecommunications engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila, Pakistan, in 2016 and a master’s degree in research in electronics engineering from Incheon National University (INU), Incheon, South Korea, in 2018. Syed was a sessional academic staff at RMIT University, Melbourne, from 2020 to 2022. He worked as a Research Assistant with INU for two years. He has authored 15 publications and serves as a review panel member and guest editorial panel member for various reputable International Journals and Conferences, including the IEEE Transactions.
