kylie valentine is Director  of the Social Policy Research Centre and the Centre for Social Research in Health. She conducts research on what policy is, how human services are delivered, and how social worlds are made up in policy and practice. She is very interested in the sociology of knowledge and the history of ideas, and how they can be used to understand social inequalities. 

kylie also conducts evaluation research on integrated service delivery in family and community support services, gendered violence, housing and homelessness, and alcohol and other drug services; and she has expertise in qualitative methodologies and evaluation design.
