Biography

Dr. Shimul Kanti Nath is currently working as a Post-doctoral Research Associate at the University of New South Wales, Sydney. He received his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electronic Materials Engineering of The Australian National University in July 2021 and then worked as a Post-doctoral Research Associate at The University of Western Australia. Dr. Shimul Kanti Nath is currently working as a Post-doctoral Research Associate at the University of New South Wales, Sydney. He received his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electronic Materials Engineering of The Australian National University in July 2021 and then worked as a Post-doctoral Research Associate at The University of Western Australia. He was one of the winners of the Prestigious Forrest Prospect Fellowship awarded by the Forrest Research Foundation in 2021.

Dr. Nath has extensive research experiences and expertise in photodetectors and oxide-based memristors, and currently exploring their potential for emerging technologies, including next-generation remote sensing and brain-inspired computing. To date he has authored and co-authored more than 23 research articles in prestigious scientific journals and presented his research in leading national and international conferences.
