Autonomous Guidance of Komatsu Bulldozers

Associate Professor Jay Katupitiya and his colleagues are working on the development of fully autonomous bulldozers. The autonomous guidance of the machine will be demonstrated in July 2016.

The bulldozer shown here will be automated to follow a prescribed path highly accurately. In the future, the blade control will be incorporated to demonstrate earth moving tasks.
